Geodoku applies the Doku mechanic to geography. Nine cells, one criterion per row and per column, and at every intersection a country, a capital, a department or a state that meets both. Africa crossed with Flag with a star: Ghana works, Kenya doesn't.
Today's grid is the same for every player and changes every day. Three lives, a score that favours rare answers, a daily leaderboard. Free play offers unlimited grids in four difficulty levels.
Continents and world regions, hemispheres, equator and tropics, landlocked, island or transcontinental countries, number of borders and neighbouring countries, flag colours and symbols, currencies, official languages, population, area and density, members of the European Union and of the major organisations, driving on the left, former colonies, hosts of the Olympic Games or the World Cup.
Coastal or landlocked capitals, capitals on an island, at altitude, in the European Union, sharing their country's name, not the largest city of their country, city population, continent, first letter and number of words.
Regions, prefectures and their first letter, coastline, rivers crossing the department, mountains, borders with a neighbouring country, overseas departments, renamed departments, number of neighbours, population, area, odd or even number.
Census Bureau regions, state capitals, time zones, coastline and Great Lakes, rivers, borders with Canada or Mexico, order of admission to the Union, origin of the name, island or landlocked states, population and area.
